Susan Littlefield MS, CN

Susan is a Washington State Powerlifting champion and finished 12th in the nation last she competed. She holds a Masters of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics and completed her undergraduate work in biochemistry & cell biology with research published in neuroscience and brain development. In addition to establishing and operating the ViTL Nutrition practice where she works with a range of athletes from high school to Team USA, she has written nutrition columns for national publications and developed content for public health campaigns. 


Scott Littlefield MS, CN, CISSN

Scott is a co-founder of ViTL Nutrition where he works to transform the science of nutrition into individualized foods and strategies to help clients optimize performance and health. He completed his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry & cell biology while working in pharmaceutical drug development and as a first responder, and went on to earn his master’s in nutrition & dietetics. He has received awards for his work in developing sports nutrition systems for athletes and been featured in international nutrition documentaries. Watch out for him running sub-5 minute miles on the road and bombing drives on the golf course.

Bernard Franklin, CSCS

Bernard Franklin is an award-winning strength and conditioning coach and Master Personal Trainer who has not only coached record-setting and nationally ranked athletes, but has himself set multiple state records and placed nationally as a powerlifter. He played football and trained for the Naval Special Forces BUD/S program while earning his degree from Washington State University. His passion for cooking and success with a large range of clients drive his desire to show others how proper nutrition underlies success in every goal.

Curtis Van Wyck, CSCS, CMES

Curtis is the owner of Curtis Clay Training, the man behind Clay’s Cortex Podcast, and a leader of courses in Exercise Professional Education. He is the first in his family to graduate college, earning a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Health Sciences while playing Division I baseball. Curtis’ passion for education and a client-centered approach drive his work to help athletes intelligently train their own bodies and to push professional education in the exercise sciences forward.

John Gurnick

John founded North by Northwest Consulting LLC in 2006 and has led the deployment of nearly twenty mobile app solutions for a host of major clients in fields ranging from sports and retail analytics to event planning and lifestyle publications. His focus is in digital transformation, memorable client experiences, and driving adoption. He has a BA in English and a BS in Journalism from Bowling Green and is an avid soccer fan and cycling enthusiast.
